I wish i could afford some lighter parts, Im pretty sure we could get these down to 6lbs if money was no object. But I think that would sacrifice reliability depending on what your intended use is.
I think you're right. I've bought some of the lighter stuff and if my math is right it should be sub 6 lb with optic.

I was trying to avoid adding up the cost...lol. Rifle only $3450. Should be 5.4 lb without acog.
Trying to get my hands on a carbon fiber buffer tube which would save a couple ounces. Then last thing I am waiting on is a titanium LAW folder. no timeline on those yet.
Hope the JP spring will arrive when the upper is ready to ship lol.

Me too.
For anybody wondering how things are going on the uppers... They're going great now. Tentatively, and subject to change, we will likely be taking the first group of uppers to anodizing next week.
If you aren't sure what you're looking at in these pictures... After they come out of the mill Gabe checks them over and buffs the flats for any large machining marks then hands them to Matt, they are then wet tumbled for 45 minutes in ceramic media and then he's been sanding, filing and course blasting them before I hit them with glass bead blasting for their final finish before anodizing. Then we wrap each one up, take them out to the front for inspection. If any marks are visible, they go back through the process.
