Looking through this thread it I noticed you have what looks like the longer (17"?) version on your MS - do you like it?

I have pretty long arms and think the 17" might be a good fit for me.

Mine is a Coda Evolution 17" but yes I like it very much. Have another one waiting for my next email from ATRS.

My buddy mike just finished building his sporter. ATRS does an amazing job, finish is perfect and all parts fit great.

Geissele LPK, trigger, and charging handle
Bcm 17” kmr handguard, buffer, grip.
BCL 18.6 stainless barrel coated with VHT
Trijicon accupoint 1-4x
YHM gas block, it’s a bit over gassed so going to put in an H2 buffer.
B5 Govt stock

How’s the BCL barrel? Has your “buddy” shot it yet? My “buddy” has one waiting for his build and is curious how it groups?

Yeah he put around 200rds through it today. Using the 4x to about 50yards it’s very good. Haven’t gotten out to any long range stuff yet. Feels like it’s limited by the optic power

You need to modify the bolt up plate’s anti rotational tabs, as well as the top two bolt up bolts. You can only bolt up the top two and bottom two, since the side ones won’t fit. Weaker yes, but still much stronger than their DDM4 rail which uses 4 smaller screws. I’d say it’s non-issue since if the rail won’t be bending much before the front hits the gas block, so you’ll never stress the bolt up system enough. Just my 2 cents.

Worth the wait. Still waiting for a rear sight, other than that, all prefect.
