Mosin 91/30 and Ammo Combo

These are so cheap as it is ! Why is everyone wanting the store to pay the shipping and just want the rifle ? Everyone can use more ammo . I just put an order in for 3 packages and seller&bellot ammo is way better than the Russian stuff .
Delayed?
I think they are delayed. I pre-ordered back around the 6th of March when they posted their add for this,
in addition to further ordering and paying for an extra 800 round case of ammo above the combo deal.
At the time they ran their add it stated ***"PRESALE! They are arriving in about a month and I'm not sure
when more are coming after this batch."***
Just received another email today when I asked the same question, and was informed it would yet be
another "month-ish" as of the 28th of March, 2013. Not sure what that means but I am guessing it
means sometime after the end of April, possibly into May.
I pre-paid over 600 bucks via EMT.
so it's rather disappointing, but waiting with anticipation as this is
my first Mosin Nagant.
I am sure delivery of the Mosin's from their supplier is beyond their control, but if that's the case, out of
fairness they should not state things like "about a month" in their adds, as it gives a 30 day impression
in the minds of their customers.
In truth....................had I known it would have taken around 3 months instead of one month SFRC
stated, I would have kept the 600 + cash and shopped for one at the Calgary Gun show this weekend.
Lesson learned.

Shipping is over $100 to NB because of the ammo. Just a rifle should be a option, per everyone else.
Alright.............something's been bothering me on the inside and I need to clarify on my previous post.
SFRC seems like a great company. Their service and email response was top notch and their staff very friendly.
My only issue was the term "about a month" on the pre order, which again, put a mind set in me of around or very
close to a 30 day mark. I have to admit, I am a bit of a newb when it comes to ordering online on PRE-ORDER items.
So I don't want to seem like I was slamming SFRC which has been great right up until this point. Sorry if it came across
like that, not my intention SFRC, you guys have been great so far.
I plan on using SFRC for many more orders because they were so friendly and professional. One of the better online
companies I have ran into.

I've had great service with SFRC, but I think that is the nature of importing surplus rifles. Sometimes shipments get delayed or refused. Instead of being shipped by air, they now have to be shipped by sea etc. It would be good if the description would be updated if they know there will be a delay, I will admit that.
I have been to there physical store in harrowsmith and the place is awesome some good people work there.
And yea these things happen just be patient everything will come in time.
