Are they 1891's as the ad says, or are they 91/30's?
I guess OP's comment was more about whether or not these were M91 versus M91/30. M91 being more valueable than the standard WWII issue M91/30.I think Model 1891 is what its called, but people got M91/30 , m short for model, 91 short for 1891, 30 short for 30" barrel? hence M91/30 , I could be wrong though, but im 90% positive theyre M91/30s
I just ordered one, I put in notes "pleeeease give me a Hex receiver"
Can't wait until it arrives to add it to my collection, hopefully cleaning the cosmoline won't be to bad!

You guys ran out of oilers n bayos? My 2 mosins didnt come with them (saturday). They come with bayonets and oilers.
Couldn't resist the Mosin+ammo deal, just make sure to clean the barrel well!!
Wanstalls was good enough to help me find a hex receiver mosin in store, orange serial numbering, prewar, great shape on barrel and stock..overall very very unique.
Thanks again guys.

Really looking forward to getting my first Mosin in a couple days. Are these rifles typically covered in cosmoline like the SKS?
