This is now making my head spin.
Wolverine has the real McCoy but import stamps. SFRC has the ones from North Sylva but not a lot of info on the condition or the authenticity of the "original" scopes. Now Tradex has them on their site and they say they are in refurbished V-good condition but they have a line "#'s on original scopes match sniper markings on receiver" that is a bit confusing. Is this a matching scope to receiver? Or is it sniper markings on receiver (CH mark, a scope serial number on left side of receiver)?
Umm, I think the tradex ad copy is pretty clear. They are typical refurb mosins, but in this case they are original sniper rifles with matching original PU scopes and no import markings for half the price Wolverine is asking for the same rifles with a huge receiver billboard import stamp - all from the same european source.
In other words, Wolverine = fail.
Which is too bad as I have bought a lot of stuff from Wolverine and like doing business with them, but Tradex is also great to buy from and they get the big win on this offering.
