Can someone help me out?
My wife and I enjoy going to the gun club frequenty, I throw a bunch of lead downrange with my pistol, and she slowly plinks away with an Anschutz .22LR rifle with peep sights. This is fine and dandy when it's cold out and we are limited to the 20yd indoor range, but when the weather warms up, and we head outside to the bigger lanes, I would like a .22 that I can shoot at 100yds while the barrel cools down on the big ones.
What kind of .22's are out there that are good target shooters at that range nowadays?? Would like to stay under $400 out of the box if possible, and not have to rebuild the whole rifle with aftermarket parts to get it to shoot tight groups. Any "factory" tack-drivers out there?

on this one. Looks like I should be able to sell off my Anshutz prone rifle and stop wasting good .308 match ammo in my $4000 custom built target rilfe, if you can get this kind of accuracy out of a clone Remington Nylon at 300 yards
