Any Smith and Wesson revolver with a four inch barrel... even a modest old blue steel wood gripped Model 10 has a very attractive balanced appearance to my eye. I also love the look of the Model 1917 from the first Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Handguns I love the looks of:
1. STI 2011 1911's (Specifically the Tactical models in Hard Crome)
2. Sphinx 3000
3. Kimber 1911's (Specifically the Warrior, Desert Warrior, and the Eclipse they all look good)
4. Springfield TRP
5. Springfield XDM
My ideal best looking handgun (which one day I plan to have made) is a 1911(kimber desert warrior frame sights and grip from this) with a Tri-top slide with similar dimensions (for 1911 ratio) as the Sphinx 3000 slide. They do have Tri-Top slides for 1911's but the flat top on these pistols are too narrow, the cut pieces on the sides are too long and at too much of an angle. Detonics makes something like I described earlier for their Commander model 1911.
