My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

this man has reached legend status in my books for sure.
Those are stackable lifts for the height of the front bag. Three layers, all different thicknesses, and the dowels simply hold any 2 [or all 3] in
alignment. I use the "soft" front bag, since the wide BR stock fits securely down in between the ears, but slides freely on it.
I have a new front rest in construction, but have not worked out all the details yet. It will be used for my rimfires, and for my 1000 yard CF rifles.

Congrats on some really great targets Dave. I wonder if Jeff has anymore Suhl rifles for sale?
I believe he originally brought in only 3, and offered me the last one. These are quite rare, but they have the best trigger I have
ever used on any rifle. Some of the Suhl 22's that were imported to the USA originally had lazy twists [some as slow as 1-19"] so
shoot poorly in cooler weather, and are more ammo fussy. Mine is a 1-16", so no issues with that.
I also got with the rifle an original test target from Jim Williams. It looks a bit like a IR 50/50 target, and every shot on it is a 10x
My understanding is that Jim originally prepped this rifle for his son. [not absolutely sure, but that's the story]. Regardless, it is an outstanding
shooter, and I feel very fortunate to have it. Dave.
Dave I doubt if you will ever want to sell that rifle however if you do please let me know.

Out of curiosity, I chronographed some of that ELEY ammo Listed at 1059, it averaged 1066 in my rifle.
High was 1073, low was 1058 [over 10 shots], so pretty consistent for rimfire ammo. Need to shoot more to get
the real picture, but it helps to see why good groups are possible at 50. Dave.
Inspired by Eagleye i decided to give the challenge a try this morning. I normally only shoot dots unless I’m testing ammo but thanks to Dave’s great shooting I had a go.

You don't indicate the make of rifle in your post, but I gather it's a 2500X Stiller action by Holeshot Arms. What barrel is on the action? Is the scope a Leupold Competition? The picture above shows what looks like a variety of Eley ammo. Is it Eley Match?

Thank you. Action is a 2500X with a Shilen barrel. Scope is an older fixed Leupold 35x competition. Ammo is Eley remmington match. Went through 7 - 8 different lots to find one that shot this well.
