My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

Good results.

As an observation, the entire target page above doesn't appear to be shown.

In the rules for this thread is the following about the target.
"You must show the full sheet of paper (no cutting a strip off). If you are shooting a strip of paper you must show the before and after."

2 LUG VUDOO.jpgVUDOO 20X5 @ 50M.JPG

Not posting this as an entry but this 22 can shoot 1/2' @ 50 all day given the right conditions and ammo.
This Vudoo is owned by my wife but she hasn't been using it much since I bought her a 360 with a carbon fiber wrapped Bartlein a while back.
I used it to test some new SK Long Range recently and shot the attached 20X5. Those circles are 1/2" O.D. so not much doubt that all 100 shots are 1/2" groups.

Failed tonight - first time shooting all year off the bench. Lots of potential there!

Another entry with iron sight.

Scope: N/A - iron sight
Rest: Rempel bipod front, Protektor solid base rear bag
Ammo: Lapua Center-X after testing different ammos

The sun came up throwed the light right to the eyes and made it very difficult to see. Had to wait until it was in the right direction.

Two targets shown. The results on the qualified targets are:
Group 1: 0.689" - 0.22" = 0.469" - Worst
Group 2: 0.488" - 0.22" = 0.268"
Group 3: 0.469" - 0.22" = 0.249" - Best
Group 4: 0.495" - 0.22" = 0.275"
Group 5: 0.495" - 0.22" = 0.275"

Average of all groups: 0.3072"

Awesome shooting, especially with peeps ! Those Suhl 150’s are, imo some the greatest factory rimfire rifles ever made so I’m not surprised to see this kind of results from a Suhl. Woth a scope, this rifle would be in the 1/4’’ club with ease !

Getting back to this 50m group.. Isn't this a quarter inch club entry?! You are supposed to detract .22 from the measured groups... Am I wrong ont his one? Looking at the picture of calipers, I am confused... might be that calipers already compensate for the .22?

Calipers were already set to the bullet diameter.

Harrell's tuner used with light weight, setting 4-60

I was lucky to get a 1/2" challenge target out of this rifle, she doesn't like to give them up easily.

Great shooting. I added you to the successful list.
