My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

That's some great shooting Dryfire, unfortunately I don't think your entry fits the criteria.

Post #1 rules include;

"All 5 groups must be on the same paper"

"There cannot be any other groups on your "official" target"

It's not my call, I'm just saying ;). Again, great shooting.

For the record, my .22 doesn't shoot 1/2" groups all day. I can prove it. :)

So two friends and I are off on a 5-day shoot tomorrow am. Got a gravel pit range good for 350 yards.... so the vehicles are loaded with just a few firearms. I've got a range finder so we setup 50 yards for .22 and 100 yards and more for the centerfires. So we're all going to take up the challenge and see how we do. Back next week so I'll get some pic's and results posted when we're back.

This is going to be fun!

While waiting for tomorrow Spring turkey opening day, i took a crack @ the Underthegun challenge, got my set up @ 50 yards (paces ), the rifle is a Savage HBVT 22 lr, the scope is a 3200 10X40 TMD, the ammo is CCI Green tag, no wind, 9 degrees, i did succed in my first attempt, the first groups is @ .49 and is not touching the black dot, made adjustments and slowly went after the 4 others groups, the 4th one was the smallest @ .130 and the last one was just @ .5 ( Probably the best barrel temp was on the 4 th group )....
The average is .348...
1-.... .490
2-.... .370
3-.... .250
4-.... .130
5-.... .5
My set up was made just beside the house with things on hand but pretty efficient...
The dot on target are .7 ( targets made for group in a dime essai )... JP.

I managed to get out early today, and there was some wind, but not too bad.
I brought 5 rifles to shoot the Challenge with, and only had to shoot a second target with 2 of them.
They were all shooting well.
Rifles as follows:

Remington 40X Rimfire, 6.5-20 EFR Leupold. [Ammo, ELEY Match EPS (Black Box)]

Winchester 52C Sporter (Reproduction) 6.5-20 LR Leupold, 30mm Tube. [Ammo, Lapua Midas "L"]
I'll post results in reverse order

Just noticed an error in my math on one target. Should be .356" not .355" :(
