Thanks for the kind words fellas. It is nice to get a slap on the back from your peers.
I am kinda getting the feeling there aren’t too many drilling or combo guys out there. Seems odd to me given there are several overlapping seasons in Canada. For example, how many people carry a .22 or shotgun with bird shot while moose hunting? How often have I flushed grouse in the same spot while walking to a deer stand? How many annoying squirrels have shown up while watching for deer? I have had a coyote stand and watch me at 150 yards while hunting Turkey....just saying.
Sure thing...The resting state of the front blade sight looks like this:Would you be able to show the rifle iron sights hidden and deployed? I didn't know that was a feature, but sounds really cool!

So, when you are in shotgun mode, it lays flat and even with the rib.
You push the rifle selector forward like you would to take off a tang safety. The button on the selector pops up and locks it forward. This makes the front trigger (which is also a set trigger) the rifle trigger.

The front leaf, which says "100" on it, pops up. Coincidentally, the scope mounts on my gun are "see through" but the hole is a lot smaller than the ones we typically see over here.

I have yet to try this sight to see if its on or not.
Chalk up another kill for the 'ol Sauer. Bagged a turkey this morning with the left 16ga barrel. I am loving this gun!
