My experience with SRFC

I just made my first online pre-sale purchase from the folks @ SFRC and thus far, smooth sailing... although my trigger finger is just itching to scratch itself on the Mosin... ;)

P.S. Oh and earlier today I had sent Ryan an email prior to ordering and he was lightening fast with a reply! :)

So you're the SOB who dealers rant about :) :ang3

So far Ryan has been as patient as a Saint with me. I have pre-ordered an NEA and then cancelled it and pre-ordered a Daniel Defense. I have order .223 ammo and changed the brand. I have ordered shotgun ammo and and because some of it was on back order I had time to again waffle and change that order and every time Ryan and the girls have been patient and polite. Every time I call I am waiting for him to finally snap and lose it, but he doesn't. I know I would have by now. They haven't even screwed up an order yet. I can't even keep all my order confirmations straight. I will continue to order from and support SFRC as my primary go to for ammo and guns. Hell, they even got me a magazine extension for my Hatsan shotgun working with their distributor!! Who else could do that? Ryan's a NINJA!! Great Job at SFRC!!

Maybe I should have dealt with these guys as well. Placed an order going on 3 weeks now and no contact what so ever. Not mentioning names until transaction is complete and I have all the details. :(

My relationship with the SFRC started out great, they were the ones who sold me my first firearm after getting my PAL. My beautiful Rem 870. But my last purchase had it's unpleasant moments. I apparently made the wife cry from an email that if I posted for you to read you would wonder why... Also after confirming via email that I could come to the store after work between 4-5 I was greeted at the front door by what I perceived as a rude Marcie stating "We are Closed!". I explained I had been told it was ok to come and replied "Oh, it must have been Ryan." and gave me my purchases. The best part was when I apologized for making her cry, she replied with "Yeh, we get all types here...".

Looking outside the box we both made mistakes. I was an impatient lil turd and they could have been a touch more professional and helpful in answering some questions. I will continue to deal with them and respect the individuals who operate the business. If only I had more money to give them...

One big peeve I have on this forum is the fanboy Aholes who jump all over some one who has a negative experience. It seems the rules against attacking people get thrown out the window when it comes to defending a sponsor.

Here's the youth model stock I got burned with!

There is over an inch difference in length of pull between these stocks. The new $75.00 one arrived yesterday.

And as we discussed yesterday I'm sending you $75 to cover the stock you had to get. There will also be a return label with it for you to return the shorter one.

Again folks, a phone call works wonders. You didn't get burned, we BOTH failed to notice it was shorter.

As well here is the picture of the gun I posted, I didn't notice it but in the picture it is easy to see it is a shorter stock in retrospect. #47

I'm not posting this to be defense. Just to point out that people miss things, me, the buyer etc and it could have been solved with a simple phone call...and you know what they say...size doesn't matter :)

Food for thought: photograph on lined/grid paper or with a tape. This way, the angle has a minimal impact on determining length. I have pads of grid paper 24 x 48" long with 1" grids.

Not to be a fanboy, but I'm glad it worked out to everybody's satisfaction.

Now where are the preordered mosins? :)

Yes, that was our first big used gun sale...learned lots from it :) Probably won't do one again for a bit and will organize/photograph the guns differently. Now back to replying to 863 emails and 107 pm's from the last two days.

If anyone isn't happy with a gun or item we've sold, just let us know and we'll make it right.

Remember Me.

I'm guessing you forgot me. Don't want to start another #### show. Let me know whats up!

I'm away today picking up interesting towns for the store.

Pm me again and I'll get the stock sorted out with a refund or something free if you want, didn't realize it was a wood gun when I posted.

A+ I bought some major items from them in the last year and they were great. Good coomunications and quick turn arround. Will deal with them again.

I will defiantely shop at SFRC again, the only thing that caught me off guard is that they dont call in transfers daily like the other 2 regular dealers in my area that I frequent, no biggie but now I know :)
