Just shoot if you enjoy & block out the rest
Actually, the honeymoon was over when I was inadvertently put on a 'god-squad' at the Ontario Provincials a few years back....I was disgusted by what I saw. It stopped being fun....and was down-right embarrasing to watch a grown man have a hissy fit over a tenth of a second or a quarter of an inch...
It was cool while it lasted, I won a few matches and now I've moved along to something else.
It's too bad you'd allow something or someone(s) inperfections get in the way of enjoying a sport you love to participate in.
I've been at this since 1995, with an away period of approx. 3 yrs. at one point (personal reasons) otherwise, I've neve really noticed what the politics were, or I'd hear about them later then most. And I've seen pissy fits from some of the really over competitive shooters... but even they are pretty good folk on most days...Like Relliot said, evryone has a moment here or there...yes some more often, but why let his/her actions affect you ?
I'm usually the last to hear about that or this issue or occurance, probably because I really don't pay attention to it... I love going out and squading with people I like, we shoot, we make fun of each other, we shoot some more, we go for a snack on way home and then do all over again following match...
Don's squad yourself with others you don't want to...and now it's easier to do with the online system that wasnt in place before... and you can let MD know who to and not to squad you with and get out and have a blast..
If you're STD division shooter who's won matches, then...um...I think revolver division is best for you ...

Just come out to a few matches and stick your foot back in the water and see if it's cold ?
