My only regret with SKSs is that I didn't buy more when I bought some a few yeara ago.

I was just remarking to my son the other day how unusually well built the Chinese **military** SKS is. I think the time Russian advisors spent transitioning them to build their own using Russian tooling helped a great deal. I understand Chinese AK's are similar in build quality.

Now that it's hard to find a decent SKS anywhere, post up EE ads to help other's out. Every Canuck should own at least one. Canadian beaver and SKS go together!! 
That vid was 2017. Mine has is a stock that is nicely used but way better that the one in the vid. So I guess in 3 years they aren't running out lol. The trigger on my Russian izzy is better than the type 56 right now. But I think I might have polished when I got it. So lets say they are even on the trigger. When I shoot them both side by each this weekend we shall see the important part. function and accuracy.

Anyone have any ideas what my sks might be worth now? Its a 1950 russian, spring loaded firing pin, hical rear peep sight, timbersmith stock, has 2 factory mags and one tapco, functions flawlessly with all 3. Bayo lug removed and properly blued over, and has a russian snipers badge in the stock. Also has probably the nicest trigger of any sks ive ever shot.

I can see you getting $500-600 easily to somebody that appreciates the platform and wants to use it for sporting purposes. It's hard to sell "custom", but they eventually do go to a good home. Why not just keep it?
Probably less than you have into it.
That's why I love buying those tricked out SKSs sometimes as long as people have the original parts to go with it. If not, it is worth less. Putting it into perspective, no more than $600 as the previous poster mentioned.

Thats about what i figured its worth. I may keep it. I have no real plans to sell it, more so just curious what its worth now.
I very highly doubt that... you'd probably be surprised.
I like buying bubba'd SKSs too, cheaper prices and they're typically halfway bubba'd to how I want them anyhow (I only have two untouched; one number matching for collecting purposes, one mismatched to use a "purist" shooter). I find myself saving a nice amount instead of just buying the rifle separate and the parts new.
Yeah, I bought this one poorly bubba'd and fixed it up years ago. id make a profit on it, put it that way.
Just thinking what those stocks are going for. Not bubba'd enough for me though. Throw in the original stock, 2 more mags and a scope rail and then we are talking, lol. Just bought a comparable one with the goodies for that.
