My new .50 Beowulf

Got my mags today. Fit 12 (with closed bolt) just fine. Cycled perfect.

For anybody in shooting matches will appreaciate full sized mags with +13 capacity.

And there IS 50 BW stamped on the side of the mag near the bottom.

Norincodude, I am looking forward to your range report. I am seriously considering the Beowolf upper for my collection. Price is not a problem, nor do I care how many .223 you can stuff in the mag.

Looking to see how accurate it is at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yds. I am currently working in Afghanistan and will purchase a few additions when i come home. I run around Kabul with an Ak-47 and like the size of the .50 AE.

Several programs bought 50AE rifles for anti vehicle use in Iraq/Afghan. They don't work as well as standard M855 out of a 14.5" M4. Add to that the limited mag capacity and they were a total flop.

I'd still like to score some of these mags though.

At the moment you're either special ordering or reloading.

Reloading is the best and most cost efficient option.

Interesting you only got 12 in there! 13 worked for my NEA and Sosa's Noveske too (on a closed bolt)

I put a Spike's T2 buffer and a Fab GL Shock butt on the Beowulf and tried it out yesterday. It does make the recoil a bit smoother.

We just have the .50 Beowulf new polymer magazine, it is actually much better than the GI mags. We will post some pictures of them.

Finally got all the parts to finish my personal beowulf built.

So installed a lo pro gas block, got a samson rail and slap on my Noveske N4 lower.

Also, got some .50 Beowulf marked Polymer Mags as well
