Name this .400" projectile

I use 800x to push 135grn JHPs around 1700fps out of my Glock 20. I also used it in a 1006, despite the velocity I find it to be a pretty comfortable load to shoot. I ran some through a 6" barr l and was breaking 1800fps.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to load a variety of bullets ( never realized how varied my stores were or .40 / 10mm boolits. I have a lot of 180, 160 & 155gr as well a a load of 180gr Hornady HP-XTP). How light a bullet can you go? Any recommendations on those lightweights to maximize my fps?

Alliant Power Pistol did a good job pushing 155xtp's north of 1500fps in my G20c

...and Vhita Vhouri 3N38 pushed 200gr XTP's over 1200... Well over actually.

If your going to muck about with chasing speed in the 10mm then research it well, there have been some close calls and some near KB's just with minor temp changes... Choose your powder carefully and weigh every single charge...

For plinking tho I found a 180gr plated HP with a generous amount of power pistol was enough to get the wrist numb, easy on the brass and still way more entertaining than AE factory 180's.

Good bit of info here

It's not so much that I NEED max fps.... Just Looking to avail of the more powerful loads we can produce to make better use of the 10mm's capability. I am open to suggestions.

Nothing wrong with that boomer. Why leave the big block at an idle. I like my 12.5gr blue dot with 155gr XTP. Hot. Safe. Fun.
