Just really glad the NEA 102 received non restricted status! Congrats to NEA and the distributors, sellers etc. It's a great day for AR10 fans!!! and fans of non restricted 308 rifles!
 
Where do I order this ? Is there a link somewhere?

Gladly be a so called guinea pig

I have two NEA's I built on used parts sourced on EE with well over 12k rounds between them and only one stoppage caused by a mag filled with mud.

Putting aside some of NEA's early bolt mishaps, Haven't these AR10 rifles been proven to be reliable in other countries?

As for the guys who can't open their pie holes fast enough about NEA quality. Pretty much every manufacture has QC issues at times. If I took the same approach as some here I'd never own a Remington, or a Savage. I'd be curious to see how many of the ABNEA crew will end up buying one.

Ok. Ive read all the threads. Ive seen all the responses. Looked for all the reviews. Scratched my head with all the flaming. Handled the products available that I could. Asked the questions Ive had. The only thing I now know for sure is that Ryan and his people at SFRC are bang up classy people. Congratulations on being part of a positive achievement in our firearms community. Ryan, I hope you take over the planet with this rifle...
I know you'd do better with it then with a hacked together hp9 rem clone with a jumbo safety and hi viz follower......

No I have not intrested in getting back into the ar15 game.
I have no issue wirh nea any longer.
They are why they are and fit a nice section on the ar15 industry.
Just saying now that the Arma lite 102 design has been approved that loans a gateway for others to make a quality copy of it.
Not sure why people are upset at that statement ?
 
So the NEA-102 finally gets its non-restricted status and it's met by just as much vitriol as elation. Remember before the nea-15 came out how you couldn't get an AR15 (other than norinco) for less than $2000? NEA has changed the market again, and I for one am excited. I dont know where the haters get the energy, they seem to me a bunch of basement dwellers whos opinions don't matter to anyone outside this internet forum. You hate the company, we get it; move on with your life. Now to prepare myself for always having to explain how it is, in fact, a non-restricted rifle. Good job NEA, Very excited.

Lol, if no one bought any products that had a manufacturer defect or that ever broke there wouldn't be a single vehicle on the road (especially no Dodge trucks) :p
QC issues are pretty much impossible to eliminate completely, it's how the company stands behind their product that makes the difference and so far from what I've read NEA has excellent warranty service. I've been lucky so far and the few items I own or have owned in the past have worked perfectly.
