You won't hear anything about NEA in the US, I don't believe they're sold there.
scares me that people are comparing their Norcs with NEA. So much for Canadian made
Disposable income is pretty high right now so I might go all out on this and purchase one of the higher end brands.
What bothers me is why is Colt branded stuff especially AR's so hard to find in Canada. They have a decent loyal following if you look at U.S. Gun forums but here they are pretty slim to none? Is there something I don't know?
Also, as usual Canadian stuff ends up costing more (import, tax, headache, etc) but compared to U.S. prices other brands like Armalite, Bushmaster, etc aren't all that different. You see + $500 tops, why is it with the Colt stuff a $1200 Rifle retails for $2200 in Canada. It seems like a very high jump in price compared to other brands even though they go through the same process/import cost.
Again, is there something I don't know?

Has anybody bought one of the NEA upper/lower matched sets from SFRC? I'm wondering if they jig them up in pairs and machine the takedown pin holes for a nice fit? Has there machining improved, I shot and examined one last week, the upper/lower fit was looser then my Norc and the lower receiver had milling swirl marks on it?
Im not bashing, just wonder how much they have improved as I am interested in the receiver set![]()
