I am getting 2.06 with my calipers.

Is the A5 buffer tube an ar-10 tube? If it is an ar15 tube it will not work. I would be curious to hear others input on this.
So would I, even though I'm going to run it stock to begin with, if I decide to make some changes, I was figuring this could be a nice stock for it.
According to Magpuls website, M4, SR25, AR10, so I'm figuring it should be good to go.
I'm no expert on this but I think DPMS 308 ARs use standard ar-15 buffer tube and a shorter buffer to accomanate the longer bolt travel of a 308, MH uses this design, I also have a JP captured buffer that works flawlessly on the MH.
Armalite uses standard ar-15 buffer with a longer buffer tube to get around the same issue.
So I'm guessing that a DPMS 308 buffer or JP captured buffer with standard ar-15 buffer tube would work on this rifle since the bolt travel should be the same.
If someone could confirm this that would be great.

Noone knows at this point. If someone wants to pay gunsmithing fees I can take mine in. Otherwise we just need to be patient.

If some would be able to pass on the O.D. of the barrel nut that the free float hand guard slides onto it would be much appreciated.
