NEA blaming Geissele QC....

Oh boy, the NEA story never seems to end. I've supported them, but have seen enough experiences now that have me questioning myself. I'll be glad to hear about the range update, I can't believe they wouldn't have just taken this back, replaced it and had smiths / engineers have a peek at your lemon. Scary Sh*t.

Wow. Just wow.

Thank you for not calling us to tell us your trigger was broken. LOL!

Lol I'm happy to say that the s3g trigger I got from you guys has been 100% reliable with my 223 configuration even with the 3lb spring. I think I got about 1200-1500 and each and every one of them went BANG. That's running an NEA upper but CORE15 barrel/BCG. I wish I could say the same about the NEA 22lr dedicated upper... 3-4 light strikes per mag don't make a fun match. Got the same results with a milspec trigger, so definitely not Geissele's fault. I will let you know what happens with the CMMG 22lr upper, but I'm strangely optimistic about that one ;)

I saw a PDW NEA 7'5 CCS stock AR at Wholesales, I was going to buy it for my girlfriend...after I seen what is going on, I just thank God I didn't buy it, because I don't want anything happened to my girl!... Thanks to the OP for the information!.

I've been holding off buying a NEA gun for years now hoping the QA would get better, but I don't think it will happen?
Scary thing is, NEA sold a bunch of guns overseas to people who may actually need to defend life and limb with, I'd feel better with a Norc in hand in that situation.

I have to say their support isnt very good. There is no phone number to call and when they do respond to emails it's like 2 days after. Even the response on the email is less than 2 sentence. Im having issues with my 7.5 NEA and ive not even fired it yet. Ill do review as soon as I get a few rounds down range. Its not looking good.

I never thought I'd be here defending them, and will probably be accused of shilling or w/e for posting here, but that's not the experience I had with them. Their support/customer service at least. When did you have your support issue?

I emailed them about an issue this Sunday at 3pm and had at least six back and forth emails with their support team for the rest of the night ending about 11:30pm Eastern.

Just my experience.

Just my experience.

I had a 14.5" Norinco CQ-A with 5,000k rounds through it, sold it to a buddy who's been overfeeding her for the last few months (at least 2k of Norc ammo so far), neither of us have ever had to call or e-mail Norinco. Got my two Colts now, no issues so far, and not anticipating any problems, at least nothing in the realm of what the OP experienced.

What the OP and bennypoo have gone through blow my mind. It could have been a lot worse and someone could easily have been injured. How is NEA still in operation, I have no idea. deagle2008 beat me to it, I'd rather have something that has a history of working in the first place, rather than awesome customer service all the time because their products fail so much.

I agree, but considering their price point you can't really compare them to Colt. It's like comparing Vortex to S&B.

Norincos have QA/QC issues as well. But most of the time people understand that by buying a bargain basement rifle made in China, they'll have to do some troubleshooting. See any T97/M305/CQ modification thread.

Well, one of my Colts was the IRG deal last summer, it wasn't a lot more than the NEA. I have 6 Norinco products, no hiccups with any of them, buddy buys half an NEA and he wants to eat his gun. Norcs can be ugly as Fuk, but they seem to run for me. Actually, even cosmetically speaking, I have a few that aren't too bad looking.

Yah I grabbed one of those colts too, honestly maybe the only time ever it will ever be priced at that price for us.
