Need a Modern non restricted semi auto rifle

Its no different than any other gun. How long did Steve wait for his new SAN reciever? And he paid a lot more for that rifle. Every rifle can have issues and with the XCR that the OP wants he has Wolverine who knows the rifles very well and keeps all the usual suspect parts#in stock. It cost me $0 and no time that would have been spent at the range to get mine shooting. Try that with a CZ, Tavor, SAN when it breaks. And they all can and do break. You don't hear M305 owners whining and snivelling when their rifles need work right out of the box.

M305s are $400.

If RA intends to compete, QC-wise, with $400 made-in-china specials, that's their business...but man, I wouldn't pay them 6 times the price of an M305 to do it.

Lol wow. You bought 3 armourers kits and a spare rifle? Now that's confidence in a bullet proof design. Or is it a contradiction? Your post is all subjective opinion, not factual evidence and it leaves out too many important variables to be valid. Carry on, troll :)
And no, I'm not gambling with hundreds of dollars to appease an internet hussy. Lol

Having spare parts and not using them is one thing.

But not able to buy spare parts and always need to replace parts is another thing.
XCR have some QC issuess.... Cz858 has issues as well..

Every week somebody would start a thread on this subject and within no time it gets turn into a #### fight. personally I would just set a budget for yourself and buy a gun that is closest to that price. There really isn't a bad rifle out of the bunch, just some bad attitude from their owners, if you are a true nutz you probably won't stop at just one anyways.

It is total round count only had for a couple months and took it out 3 times it's probably up to 1800 as of Sunday all non corrosive norinco ammo as for all the people saying the cz is just as good my shooting partner has one and I'm not saying its a bad gun but when you use the two side by side you can definetly tell te difference I hear good things about the Swiss arms also never shot one but it uses different mags than the ar platform and I'm not positive but I don't think it is available in 7.62 x 39 which is a major bonus if you shoot often surplus ammo in 7.62x39 is cheap and doesn't cost a fortune to shoot all day as far as a accurate weapon the xcr pretty good I get consistent close groups and have no complaints at all and the 10 pistol mags are awesome a lil touchy to load but it's fun as hell busting off 10 rounds in a row

Both have lots of spare parts available in Canada. Both need minor repairs from time to time. Neither need much or often.

Having spare parts and not using them is one thing.

Also to add me being a lefty the ampidextorious safety and mag release are excellent along with the slide lock reloading makes it easy for me reload without having to take my hand off the trigger to reload so that was also a major selling point for me the only complaint is the asc mags are touchy I have a few c products on the way and I heard the gun likes them better which I will see when they arrive and I will update then

I read in another thread that you are in the Lower Mainland, why don't we head out to Abbotsford one of these weekends and We'll get you behind my Tavor and XCR.

come on now guys, lets chill it out, it's all good. You like the CZ he likes the XCR, everyone has an opinion no need to become personal over it. I appreciate the help and advice, I probably will go with the XCR, and I'm a gun nut so I might end up buying a CZ in the future anyway :D. so everyone can go home happy ;)

Far from my favourite, I'm an ar and aug guy, sadly one is restricted, other is prohibited. It's your money, buy whatever you want with it. I'm already happy. Whatever you buy, get spare parts for it, because like any mechanical devices with enough use it will break, and canada is not the easiest place to source parts when stuff gets broken.
