Never buy anything from Volqartsen! *Updated with complete transcript*

Any help.... I searched through all of the sponsors websites and can't find any mention of the hammer kit. Does anyone know where I can get this stuff in Canada?
Well if you want to buy from a CDN dealer, I don't know of any.
OP bought from Rimfire Sports .com - you can't beat their prices, free ship to canada, they have the target hammer.

Jo-Brook Firearms in Brandon, Manitoba has some Volquartsen stuff for the Ruger 10-22 and the Remington 597 rifles.

They have a thread in the Sponsoring Business Members Forum here on GunNutz.

Hmmm, last week I returned two extractors that I bought a few years ago but only just tried installing. I called VQ and they said to mail them back for warranty replacement as there had been a batch that was out of spec. We'll see how quickly this is resolved...

I called VQ as it's now over six weeks since I mailed in the extractors. The sales staff said they could find no record of me having returned them and would investigate. I got a call a couple of hours later saying that they had messed up with their internal communications and my replacement extractors would be shipped that day.

Thanks guys.

According to this discussion, Rimfire Sports no longer takes international orders.

The extractors finally showed up today! It took VQ another week to mail them after my phone call. Unfortunately, whoever did the addressing got my street name wrong, forgot to include the province and then got my postal code wrong, so it took the envelope almost a month to arrive.

Now the OP and everyone else can take a deep breath now and realize the world is not ending. All is good now in Extractor world.:onCrack:

Hey...you could start a nice thread about Canada Post (or whomever handled the package). A completely messed up address yet it still managed to get to you. That's got to say something...;)

As long as this thread is alive again, how did things turn out for the OP?

Did he get his handles? Did he get the refund and donate to charity?

Did VQ tell him to pound sand and donate the $90 to charity themselves?

Inquiring minds NEED to know... after reading 12 pages of this tripe!

He told me he was no longer interested in dealing with me and that he would issue a refund.

I told him to forward the total amount owed to the Wounded Warriors fund.

That was the last correspondence I had with him and haven't heard anything since.

F Volquartsen.
