Is the butt-part of it designed to be braced against where Magxwell would be in an ar?

If are you referring to Behemoth, then no. AR family of firearms is viewed as the major carrier, but not the only one. We rounded the rear corners of Behemoth's trigger guard to make it possible to install Behemoth as close to the magazine well as possible.
