New acr bushmaster nr

ha:ha:ha:ha:ha:ha:Laugh2Laugh2Laugh2ha:ha:ha:ha:ha:ha:

I call total BS on this claim. The ACR would be pressed to deliver that accuracy with a $3000 scope. A "red dot"??? No fukin way jack...
You may be spectacular but at 100M, you can't see 1MOA let alone aim your rifle that tight.

:bsFlag::jerkit:f:P:

With all due respect, of course, I think you might be a little retarded.

What I said was "I intend on firing my ACR at ranges of less than 100M, and doing so with a red dot sight". What you heard was...."blah, blah, blah, something about 1MOA.....$3000 scope.....blah, blah, blah".

Two totally different things, bud. KTHX.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit is it? Take another look at the post you quoted.

You called me out and you are right. I misread your post while under the influence. Good thing I wasn't messing with any guns at the time...:redface::redface:

I extend my most humble apologies for my ignorant remarks. There...I said it...

How would a non restricted acr compare with a non restricted xcr (.556) for performance? Is the price jump to the ACR justified in your opinions?

Cue the loctite jokes...3..2..1...

Lol I should have said "other than the loctite"...I have no fear of using a little loctite. I am really close to pulling the trigger on an xcr, but I could save a bit more for an acr...

I haven't tried an ACR but I really love my XCR-L. The only thing I would wish for is a lighter front end but I believe the ACR is very similar. Being non-restricted makes up for the weight X10...

The XCR-L may have an advantage overall!
3 Caliber conversion Kits avail and all non restricted.
The ACR uses a 3rd party barrel for a Non Restricted set-up and from what I last read there were some issues.
As for comparing the accuracy I have no data or references between the two.

I can confirm the XCR-L at 100m with a 1-4x scope was a 3-4 inch grouping with PMC X-Tac 5.56 55gr
Not that great but combat accurate! I think most standard AR's will get you 1-3 inch groups! I'm not talking about $3000 AR's
with match stainless math barrels either...I've also hit out to 500m with the XCR, 12" grouping 10rds...
It's a very fun rifle, great ergonomics, non restricted but a bit heavy and not super accurate.

Anyone have feedback on the ACR accuracy and testing?

You are correct... Dyslexia & alcohol don't mix. All joking aside, I am certified as dyslexic. The dyslexia caused the comprehension fail. The alcohol caused the verbal diarrhea fail...

It's all fun & games until someone loses control of their mouth. I am happy to admit it & move on. I beggeth for forgiveness...

All good. I'm right next to you on both those items.

where did you hear there were issues? We're these with the Herron arms barrels?

The 1st Generation that Questar had but I have not heard anything since about their barrels or if any other company is offering one for the ACR! Also I believe you need to further mod the barrel to install the clamp to hold the barrel.

Again this is just 2nd hand info that I read, is it 100% true?

It would be great if an actual owner put up a review and test results...

I'll flip them around for you.

That sucks that he hasn't made the gun NR yet. I contacted him about doing a NR version of an ACR and he quoted me 10+ weeks before he can even start on it plus another ~3 weeks for the work itself. I told him I would ship him the gun as soon as I get it from SFRC and pay the total up front, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

I would be on that guy like white on rice demanding that he file the paperwork for the NR re-verification ASAP.

It looks good, but I'm second guessing if this project is even worthwhile.

I HATE chasing gunsmiths down (or anyone in any trade, for that matter) to make sure that they haven't just decided to casually "forget" about you again.

and I'll trim them donw for him.

One of my customers has been waiting 3 months for the sfss to do his class change, he is frustrated with them as am I.
Seems to be taking a lot longer since the registry went away, come to think of it they have to date not completed a single class change submitted by me
since the legislation change. Draw your own conclusions as to why or better yet call the number below and ask why.

the number is 18007314000 ext 1090

Common sense would suggest they arent reclassifying because they will lose tracking of said rifles and reclassifyin gto restricted means they now have a rifle on file so its done within hours..... slimey as hell but thats what happens when government is involved.

I'd like to have the barrel work done, at this time the RCMP aren't issuing letters verifying the change in status from restricted to non-restricted. So, this sets up a scenario where cops will see/assume that you have a restricted piece. But because it's been de-registered, (and they haven't given you a letter saying so) you have no paperwork proving it. They'll probably take you on a trip downtown to clear things up....

Hopefully they'll take the verifiers' (Ians/Herron Arms) letter/statement of de-registration at face value.

I believe there are several people who have had this work completed and the status reclassified as non-restricted. It's worth the wait, and now would be the time to do it (over the Winter) so it's ready by Spring/Summer.
