New Apex Optics from Calgary

How long will the pre-order be available? I would feel more comfortable making a purchase after seeing the final product and some video (through the scope footage if possible).

Gotta say…from the customer relations aspect alone I wish these AB boys all the best and long term success. They answer everybody’s questions promptly and respectfully from what I have seen on a number of platforms. I really hope the scopes sell like crazy and perform flawlessly. I will be getting a 3-15 and 1-10 for sure.

In terms of turret click feel and overall robustness, would you class it like a N/F or a Sightron S111.
Thanks

+1 here, turret click feel is something i'd like to know. I imagine they wont stack up to Minox or SB Given the price range but would be good to have an approximate equivalent.

Edit:

I feel like I'm about to fail a test that I didn't study for, LOL, since I honestly don't remember if I've ever felt the Sightron personally. I would honestly say something between a Nighforce and (dare I say) Tangent Theta for turret feel and positive click feel. It's a very distinct, loud click for each 1/10th MIL. No mush, no play, just solid transition with the crisp stainless steel internals doing all the work.

damnit, i'm sold

I was seconds away from ordering another Athlon Ares ETR, then I saw this thread, I’m from calgary so I put my order in for one. Look forward to more details on this!

That's exactly right. We basically give you .2, .4, .5, .6, 8 as the minor-value subtensions on the horizontal stadia.

The .2's are on the bottom, and the .5 on top.

On the vertical, we give you a Half-Value (.5 MIL) windage dots at the .5 and 1 MIL intervals

Yeah that totally makes sense I’m not sure what I was thinking before I thought there was one extra sub tension on the bottom. Thanks for clearing that up.

Heard so much about you guys at the matches! Glad you finally have a website with some info. Bummed i missed you at the mdt match. Would've loved to look at the scope you had brought along. I'll be seriously considering your scopes for my next purchase though. :)

Great to see this coming from Canada let alone right here in AB. I like how you aren't pulling up any smoke and mirrors, being transparent when answering questions.

I was looking on the website and noticed "six sigma" certified. Is someone on your team here in AB certified or is this the facility in Japan that is Six Sigma certified?

Looking forward to getting one of these optics in my hands!
