Found the cause of my light primer strikes !! The trigger group housing wall is too thick causing the hammer not to drop fully extended as it should , it will be a quick fix with a small file .. Heres a pic , good trigger group on left bad one on the right .

Got mine yesterday and looks good....from what i can see through the bag.

This thing is swimming in oil.

Whats the best and cleanest way to get this thing ready for the range??

Break it down,
Wipe it down with old rag or paper towels to get the easy surface oil off,
Use Simple Green and more rags, a compressor is handy if you have one to blow solvent into recesses and hard to reach places.
Re-oil with your chosen product (compressed air handy again for recesses) and grease the appropriate parts with appropriate grease.
Re-assemble.

Wow. That looks like crap. Talk about "hand made"

Finally joining the m305/14 club! Took some smooth talking but finally convinced the family over dinner tonight that I need this rifle.

Guess its time for Chinese Roulette, hoping I don't get a sloppy one that's outta spec.

I would love one of these but….recent T97 experience has me pretty shy. The tough %$# attitude given by both the retailer and supplier make me nervous….so CanAmm what happens if I do get a badly indexed gun? You tell me you will make it right with a refund/replacement and I will order one. Other retailers have said that "they don't have the time to check them"…which is fair, but what are you going to do if I get a lemon is what I want to know. No strait answers to that.
Maybe I just wait and hope for the spring gun show in cowtown.

You can send it back for full refund or exchange from my dealing. And if you read in earlier post last page, Undergiver returned his, because it's index was way out

A hand selected option would be nice, if it was not too expensive, like 15-25$, that way, those of us that are hesitant to buy based on those defects would be sure to get one ready to shoot out of the box.
