Hey CanadaAmmo, is the price on ALL Norinco products going up? Or just this one rifle?

All prices are going up and have gone up, basic inflation. By this large increase is only from factory 356, the M14 series.

I wonder what constitutes "limited quantity"?
I've wanted to get an M305 for a while now and the Socom 18 looks like a great choice. Timing sucks as I just purchased an SVT and Win. Model 70 within the last month.
I e-mailed CanAm and got a reply from Chris saying the SOCOM 18 is projected to remain in stock until late December. Great news for me, if true, as I will have funds at that point but I really doubt that it won't be sold out by that point in time.

I bet this 18" baby is loud with a Brake...Can I find a brake easily for it?
And is that Norinco amo in the deal steel core? My range don't allow steel core nor steel jacketed...

I will just use some Loctite from my XCR repair kit...
It looks like there is a fair bit of thread at the end of the barrel. I can't see it flying off as long as it is screwed on all the way in either mounting position.

Some folks use teflon tape as well. Blue loctite should be perfect.

Are all m14 made at the same factory?
Are both m14s on the website of similar superior quality or is the Socom of a better quality?
