NEW ITEM: Dominion Arms Socom 18

I can confirm that the barrel is chrome lined, coupla patches through and it's shining like the sun.

Barrel index appears a bit off.
Front sight is adjusted all the way to the right, like my last shorty.
All the parts seem nice, op rod alignment looks good - the action is really smooth.
Comes with the crappy mags (I like the riveted version a lot better).
My stock has some (what appears to be) glue residue on it, kind of a bummer - there's a scratch up near the gas system that's showing bare metal.
The flash hider is ON THERE. These are regular threads right, not reversed? Should come with the flash hider in a bag. That's about it for now, looking forward to testing it out.

i really like the fact that i can take the break off for hunting to reduce length and weight and still have a front sight , but it seems like there will be a POI shift when the break is off, on or reversed .

Kinda funny about the flash hider. I haven't removed mine from the plastic yet I was able to remove and flip it around in the bag. Can't wait to pull it out and inspect

That's the next step, now where did I put that propane torch attachment...

Either way they should just deliver it in a plastic bag. The whole concept is not having to break out the vice and torch a la norinco flash hiders :(

Edit, took some advice from another thread and it worked well: Clamp Flash Hider in a rag in the vice, turn whole rifle to remove :)

.... Sounds like your goal IS to would and mess things up, kinda ####ed up you dont even take the pelt, unless you are a farmer or something.

I don't hunt coyowolfs, as per my message

if I did it would be because they are a danger to myself or my family (I include my pets as family).

lots of them around our cabin and in back of the house.

So far I leave them alone they leave me alone.

I doubt a 308 is going to wound a coyote/coywolf relative to a 5.56 nato
