NEW Kel-Tec GEN 2 Sub 2000

Wow! Sub 2000 gen 2 is very impressive. Shot 150 rounds over the weekend - flawless! And all I had on hand was steel cased ammo. Omg what a nice gun.

Right? For the money it's a really great addition to my safe and definitely coming out camping with my from now on.

I shoot the G2 left handed, the new adjustable 3 position butt plate and higher sight radius help not get gas and shells in the face.

Do you pull the buttstock closer to the ejection port? It looks as if the buffer tube only reaches as far as the Gen 1.
I would def be in for another sub2000, but I sold my last one due to the ejection in the face problem.

With the Gen 2 extended to the maximum position, it is slightly longer than a gen 1 with the butt extension attached. I had the same issue with my gen 1 before I added a butt extension. I put 100 rounds through it today and it shot great.

anymore coming in? When ? Which versions?
Would love a sig226 version ASAP
Thanks

Definitely more ordered! No current ETA on the Sig or Beretta Version. Kel-Tec is running full tilt in producing these already.

Any concrete news and I'll post it for you guys.

If definite 'stock incoming' info would be available, I'd put a deposit on a Sig 226 version to secure it.

Doubt Kel-Tec can make these fast enough for demand.

More have just landed, will be made available for purchase tomorrow.

New 2016 price is $719.99

I`ve got one, they`re great guns and no reliability issues...did a couple of mods though. A fully loaded mag drops out of the mag well just fine, but an empty one doesn`t. I got some 800 grit sandpaper and worked the mag over with that for about ten minutes...no more issues. Also sanded a few sharp points on the plastic that tended to grab on to my clothes...five minutes.
I then replaced the front sight pin with a Trijicon iridium night sight, to improve it`s low light ability...took five minutes. Dismantled the gun and used the 800 grit paper to lightly sand dry, then with G96, the bolt assembly... It`s painted black from the factory and makes racking the action a bit stiff, after the light sanding and lubing with G96, it was smooth as silk. I took it out shooting at that point, and it shoots well, with no malfunctions...but it would be even more accurate if the trigger was lighter and a bit crisper. It`s currently at my gunsmith`s, getting that trigger re-cut and lightened, and I`ll give you guys a full report when I get it back from them. All in all, a well made, fun gun...with a few minor quirks to fix to make it a great little gun.
