I paid $190 for insurance on a YZ450F through Wawanesa. First time I ever bothered with insurance and a plate. I used to leave my house and take dirt roads to my riding area. About six years ago the Mounties started bringing out a Rhino to catch guys. I felt embarrassed for them. The only people they could catch were on old Honda trikes. Then two years ago they started bringing out RZRs. I have heard from multiple people that they wait till they hear you coming and then block the trail and demand papers. If BC goes the same way I feel really bad for you. It sucks. Has nothing to do with safety or solving crimes. All about control.
nice I'll give them a call once the insurance runs out next fall.
Blocking a trail sounds pretty stupid and dangerous and I can see them doing it, just like they rammed one of my buddies with their car when he was like 13 lol, sometimes I wonder what goes through the mind of a cop, they seem to like making huge problems out of small issues just to have a chance to prove who is boss?
I think it was canada day weekend I was out camping with my friend and there was this little 5 year old cruising around on his 50 about 150 yards from his parents camper and the cops pretty much arrested the kid and then went and fined the parents for not supervising him. There were probably at least 5-6 camps all within 150 yards of this little tyke and everyone was watching him cruise around just havin a good time, till the heroes showed up that is, then he was stuck doing circles for the rest of the weekend in a 50 yard patch of grass in front of the camper...
The funny thing is that was the only time last year I saw them there, because the place was packed with people to fine.
