30 round stick mags can be found here:

I had one with the plastic stock and drum a long time ago. A PITA to load but never really jammed much surprisingly.
I'd personally get the wooden stock if I were to buy another......

Are these still jamomatics?

Here are the types of ammo I have tested so far:
  • Federal Automatch LRN - 1,200 FPS
  • Aguila Super Extra CPRN - 1,250FPS
Both are jamming. I’ll update this list as I test more ammo.

My issue is exactly what this poster described 16 years ago: https://www.rimfirecentral.com/threads/pietta-pps-50-jamming-bad.261091/ — the rounds are feeding too high into the chamber at about a 45-degree angle.

If I underload my stick magazines (20 - 25 rounds max), the gun shoots consistently. I have not found a trick for the drum mag.

Is the drum magazine metal or plastic

Drum is plastic, stick mags are well built, both are made by Black Dog Machine LLC. I prefer the stick mags, they seem to be more reliable and the plastic better quality?

I'm pretty sure they haven't made steel mags for a while but it would be nice to hear from Marstar if they are still available!
I assume the ones they have now are plastic otherwise they would highlight them as steel.

I once owned one with the wood furniture and steel drum mag..It had the longer barrel and seldom jammed using federal.Suprisingly accurate.I used to take the cover off the drum mag to load it..

Definitely interested. Would be nice if they had spare drums in stock

They do have it, but for some reason it doesn’t show up in their site search—only on Google: https://marstar.ca/product/50rds-drum-plastic/

Also, for posterity (and since it’s been asked over the years), there’s a small rounded dovetail scope rail on top.

The UTG New Generation Dovetail to Picatinny/Weaver Adapter Mount (Black) fits the dovetail perfectly, and I was able to level it with some minor effort. This rail is advertised to fit both flat and rounded dovetails. Similar adapters are available on Amazon, but some don’t work well with rounded dovetail mounts and may be canted to one side. In particular, the smaller low-profile dovetail-to-Picatinny adapters do not fit rounded receivers at all.
