Just got it in the mail today. FAB Defense direct from Israel, Zahal.org. Nice and tight fit, and zero movement with the piston cover.

Nice.....I was planning on ordering the same two items from them. How were they to deal with and how long for shipping.

I was also interested in a collapsible buttstock to fit on my vz58 like the one they have pictured on their website. Not sure if they sell them though for the vz58.

Yeah that's a ruger 10\22 with the 8.5" barrel from fabsports. Wolverine Supplies has the Fab Defense Folding Collapsible Butt Stock for the VZ, too pricey for me though. Zahal was great to deal with. Shipping was about 2 weeks, Its the second order I placed with them. They even send you a cool fridge magnet.
 
I dont get it, those prices are the same as wolverine...are those in dollars or some European currency? How can it be cost effective to order a handguard from israil when they stock them in Manitoba?

The pistol grip at Zahal is a $1 more than wolverine but the handguard is $34 cheaper at Zahal. Prices are in US dollers and no tax, shipping was $16. Still cheaper.

looking good .... i wonder why FAB dont offer the matching folding butt ? wolverine has them for $275 almost half of the cost of the rifle. :eek:

This might be a silly question, but:
The railed handguard that you have there, does it rise high enough to obscure the iron sights?

And to whoever has the Vertical Foregrip with Flashlight ww.zahal.org/FAB/T-grip.htm[/url]), how does the on/off flashlight trigger work? I don't see what the mechanism for operation would work.

There are some great items on their site.

you press the trigger on the upper front pistol grip and that in turn will press the rear switch on your light. :)

I just bought a set! A week or two, when I tired Wolverine to see if they had stock using their part numbers off of the web, all I got was an e-mail referring to AK parts or something?? I e-mailed back, but didn't hear back?

I'll save the $34. thanks
