I hate Norc...I am a gun snob. I know the m305 is a great start for a project gun and all...BUT norc as the rest of communist China just rips off designs and mass produces them with no consistancy and very shotty fit and finish. I for one prefer to save and get the real deal.

That being said if Norc is what you can afford GET ONE! More guns in responsible Canadian hands is what its all about.

The rim dia. for the 7.62 Russian is big, like 10 thou smaller than the big Weatherby rim
This could be an interesting unit. If Marstar brought them in, I'd certainly have a good look.
If one did the Ackley/Mashburn improvement on the 7.62x54R and ran it at 'modern pressure levels you'd give the "short magnums" some serious competition.

With a rim diameter that big, I want to stuff a Lapua/Rigby case in it. Maybe even open it up for the Chey Tack/Gibbs monsters.

Wonder if it would stand up to that much back pressure?????.
