Thank you TeaPot2 , i got the 380 Mac.. beauty, i love it, i got a chance to try it out at the range this weekend, it worked flawlessly with several different types of ammo, very easy to shoot, and quite accurate.

FWIW, I finally got around to shooting mine last weekend. Worked flawlessly. I HIGHLY recommend the upgrade to Pearce grips.

9x18 is the highest pressure you can use in a straight blowback

I put 50rds through mine with out any problem. The trigger is rough but I can get about a 4" group at 20yds. With a trigger job am sure I could do alot better

How about HK P7 PSP in 9 x 19?

The P7 uses a gas delayed blowback system, not at all the same as straight blowback. That said, the butt-ugly Hi Point pistols run straight blowback in both 9mm and .45ACP as I recall.

Not as bad as DA but still has lots of creep, But a good polish job would solve it.
