I finally took mine out today. The only ammo I can find is Steel jacketed and that's not allowed at my usual spot. Got to burn 100 rounds and it ran flawlessy. Very light recoil and accurate. I really like it, just need the ammo situation to resolve itself.

Fiocchi made 95 gr. FMJ should be here in about 3-4 weeks. It's a grate quality ammo but expensive (around $20 per box of 50). North Sylva promised to look at S&B...waiting for quote.

we're in first week of october where are the .380 Maks? :p

somewhere in transition...will be here soon :) With both Russian and Canadian customs you never know the exact time... We just got shipment of other firearms... they were shipped two weeks ago and were sitting more than week in Toronto for no reason (even though the cargo was manifested to Edmonton and we clear customs in Edmonton) I guess Toronto customs officers liked to play with our toys before letting them to fly to us... ;)

For those in the okanagan area looking for .380 ammo A&C Sports on Baron Rd has a few boxes. Not cheap, but i'll be able to reload after shooting. American eagle and Winchester. They also have .25 auto and .32 Auto.

We are progressing on our deal with Russian manufacturer of Makarov pistols in two calibers 9x18 Mak and 9x17(.380 ACP). Target sale price is less than $500.
Could you please vote on would you buy or would you not.
Thank you!

AT that price I'll probably buy two calibers - put me in for 380 first. I assume they will be restricted? What would be the barrel length?

Got myself a holster, looks really awesome.

Have shipment from Izhevsk at the customs, but it's full of rifles   I was expecting pistols first...Russians say pistols should fly out Monday Oct 17... everything as usual :(

they landed last Saturday... .22lr Biathlon various models of rifles. not for this thread though...;)

Russian Freight forwarders somehow switched them with pistols in time :D

I got these Norinco ammo in green boxes. It states non corrosive on the box but is it mildly corrosive? the head stamp on it is 71/89.

I'm shooting Norinco (blue boxes) it also says non corrosive. Didn't clean my old Mak for year, no issues. The powder in them is dirty, smoky, and stinky though :D
