You asked for it, You got it!

We've taken samples of other SKS magazine adapters and improved them in every way.
These are made from 3D printed polymer and cnc milled components made at our facility in Ontario Canada.
They do not need to be aluminum as they simply hold a magazine in place, there are essentially no forces on them.

The difference between FDM printed and SLS prints is the surface finish and layer line sheer issues.

The FDM looks of layers built up and when the prints fail, they tend to fail in along a seam. The SLS prints have layers all melted together and to look more like an injection molded part.

How about a Magwell that accepts AK PMAG's
They don’t work because the feed lips on the magazine are narrower than the bolt body. I converted one once. You don’t need a mag well just a latch but you need to mill the sides of the bolt. Besides I’m pretty sure the point of ar mag adapters is to be able to use 10 round capacity.

Are you offering the modifications to be done at your shop?

Glad to see innovation with the SKS. Given its ubiquity in Canada it hasn't benefitted as much as it should have from engineering solutions to bring to the modern era. It's THE semi auto rifle now, one of the only ones left.

I cringe at the thought of any of these kinds of permanent modifications though. I'll wait for something that doesn't require it. Look what we are paying for French ticklers now. These aren't $120 throw away rifles anymore.

I'm interested but don't think I'm capable of doing the work to open up the magazine well with hand tools. If this is something I buy I would need to find someone to do the work required.

If a rifle has already been modified to use the hical adapter, is there any further modifications needed to use this?

Also, if you were to pull the adapter backwards, would that activate the SKS mag release and cause the adapter to fall off?

It looks like the whole adapter can't move backwards once it's installed.
I thought that was the case with my hical adapter, but its not. holding the magwell when firing would cause the magwell to fall off.
the SKS magazine release is suppose to slid backwards, so unless this magwell pushes the magazine release all the way back, it would probably do the same?
