New Stuff...

Mark just a suggestion, why don't you become a Stiller dealer?
In a little over six months you were able to bring a brand new firearm to market!!, It took me a year to get a regular action from a all ready established dealer???

Maybe you should think about becoming a Questar Super Store!!! :)
Good work Buds!!

When it comes to Canadian Dealers, Questar is the "exception" not the rule!!!

Sorry but if I follow right the FN-SCAR short barrel versions will be restricted? And long barrels non-restricted? Or will the whole platform be one or the other?

I don't think FN USA can provide short barrelled versions yet (13.8" and 10.5" yet) as all barrels are made in Belgium.

These are very, very good. I recommend it.

The PWS Enhanced Buffer Tube is the first major upgrade and improvement to the buffer tube in years! This one piece billet buffer tube is CNC machined out of solid 7075 aluminum in order to gain lightweight strength and reliability.

The most notable features on this buffer tube include:
  • One piece construction eliminating the castle nut and ensuring that when installed, the buffer tube cannot become loose.
  • Attachment system automatically indexes the buffer tube perfectly straight.
  • The bottom of the interior buffer tube extends a lip into the receiver, supporting the bottom rear of the bolt carrier, counteracting the carrier tilt present in some piston systems.
  • Two QD sling swivel attachments are machined into the front of the buffer tube allowing ambidextrous connection of your QD slings.
  • The buffer tube is fluted to allow debris to be pushed out of the way, and a drain hole has been placed in the bottom of the tube, allowing for draining of water when the rifle is parallel to the ground.
  • A dead blow buffer is securely installed in the rear of the buffer tube to reduce carrier speed by an average of 10%, and dramatically reduce felt recoil.

I have a question about the FN Five seveN.

Isn't the 5.7 caliber prohibited? Do you need a prohib-acquisition license to purchase this gun and/or the ammunition?

If I buy one these SCARs, will I be able to put it on a FORM 6 NIA ATF and take it down into the States?

IIRC... 16" barrel or more and 26" OAL or greater. I think these numbers still apply.

I'm still on the fence whether the SCAR os fugly or not. Don't get me wrong... I want one, but...;).

Except this part makes it restricted:
•a semi-automatic, centre-fire rifle or shotgun with a barrel length less than 470 mm (18.5 inches) that is not prohibited;

Personally I don't give a damn if its ugly or not, I just give a damn if it WORKS or not! :ar15:

Yeah, I guess you could say I'm a function over form kind of guy when it comes to my kit...
