No news is bad news for this rifle.

I sent them money, I expect updates. Otherwise I take my money back and they can fund this project some other way. Without customers to front the money for the pre-order, this wouldn't be happening.
I don't need to know when hand guards get added, or barrels pressed, or varnish applied. I do think it is reasonable to get more than some sort of "don't worry, everything is going as planned."
I'm not the only one that thinks so. The other thread is revealing people walking away from the pre-orders. Oddly enough, on a Sunday, the refunds have been processed by TI. So they are around.
If they gave a little more info, they'd have a little more money in their pocket to get things moving.
I'll eat my hat if this is the case.

Why do businesses start pre-orders if they can't deliver as advertised or understand they are now in a contractual business relationship with their customers? If you expect customers to front the money to fund your business ventures, you better understand that the customers will want feedback.
Otherwise businesses should put up the funds themselves, keep quiet, and sell the product when they have it in hand, if they don't want to have to be accountable to their partners.
Yeh. I dunno. Like I hope they are on there way. I can't wait to get my hand on a T81 to see how it stacks up to the Polytech Legend. I just can't see any reason TI wouldn't shut us all up with a "GUESS WHAT BOYS, UR TOYS ARE EN ROUTE!" announcement.
Who says I haven't. Like I said, however, it is their forum. An open answer to all involved would be preferred. I'm not liking what I'm hearing more from outside TI than I am from them.
You on the pre-order?
Your questioning my grasp of sarcasm? *Gasp. Unrealistic in what way? This thread is full of investors that are merely asking for some transparency in regards to progress and status. There hasn't been any form of update (except those pictures), since the beginning of Q2, now at the end of Q3 we know nothing new. You did investors a disservice by mimicking their reasonable questions with that asinine list, my response was appropriate.
Ah, yes... I see you are a subscriber to the fenceline interpretation; "partners", "investors", "the bank", "business venture", "contracts"...
TI is a vendor. You are the customer. TI offered a product, for a price, to be delivered at a certain date. You agreed and forked over the money. There is nothing to say at this point that the product will be late, so... again, I don't see the problem.
Now, if the product is late and TI is not forthcoming with reasonably detailed and timely updates, then you have a case to press. And I'll be right here pressing it with you. Until then, I think we all just need to relax a little...

Ok. Well, I consider Fenceline's position to be less of an interpretation and more of a reality. But sure, we've been going on for awhile and I doubt anyone wants to see it. Let's all relax a little. The end of Q3 will be here soon, let's wait and see what happens.

btw - TI provided an update on Aug 16 (#469), just a few weeks ago, stating that the shipment was still expected on time.
It's everyone's personal choice to get involved in a pre order. Nobody is forcing you. You knew the terms, you agreed to them. Was there ever a firm date in the contractual business relationship with your partners?
Don't get into a contractual business relationship if you don't like the terms!!!

Yes. Never ask questions of your business partners.

Hey fenceline weren't you saying a few pages back that you are into a pre order for 3 times the cost of this and it has taken 3 years? And it's still in limbo? What firearm is this? And why hanent you pulled out yet lol? Just asking
CAD-spec rifle is exclusive to poly. Poly is exclusive to us.
We were told a date by the manufacturer, but by saying Q3 we have some leeway in case of delays. It is not a guarantee however production is already booked, they have their deposit and we are in the midst of making arrangements to visit the factory to inspect the shipment.
Prices are locked in. Famae 542 mags were offered at cost pricing for all famae pre-order customers. Only those that did not pre-order were charged mag prices with a small margin
