I would go with a fixed stock. It looks like the wood furniture would provide a better cheek weld. Not only that, steel is cold in the winter.

Or you could go with one of each

I'd love to see someone try to import the barrel assembly as a parts for the lmg. If no one can import an LMG version at least one could modify the carbine.

the wait is hard, but it'll be worth it...

I don't see a reason the LMG barrel couldn't be made in Canada after the fact...though the LMG DOES have different butt-stock, which makes I look like an LMG, rather than a rifle with an extremely long barrel.
