So, I thought I would call the BC CFO's office today...just to see if they had received my fax for the ATT application...
I didn't spend too much time on hold, but then got the canned message to leave my info and they would call back.
About an hour and a half later, a very official man called me from the CFO's office, asked me to verify some information, and then promptly told me that they were on a 4 to 5 week backlog.
In a fairly cordial fashion, I expressed my surprise hearing about such a delay.
He did say there was a huge amount of licenses processed through their office in the last 3 months, and they were trying to clear up the backlog.
He asked me when I sent it in, and I told him last Wednesday. He said to me not to expect it for 3 weeks or so.
I mentioned to him that I was inquiring because there was a revolver I had my eye on, then said that I guess there was not much point at this time, and he agreed.
I took this as there would most likely be a delay in issuing an STATT to get the gun home.
Oh well, I guess I will have some time to do some trigger mods on my 10/22, and maybe buy another long bang stick.
