PS90 clone, PS90 is only restricted so no worry, Defiantly be a market for them, only issue would be finding ammo for them, unless they could make one is .223 or something.

I don't think anything is patented on the G36. You cannot patent a "gun" you can only patent unique designs.

As for a new gun, it would have to be designed first. Since the world is going away from the subgun and the MP5 is generally considered the final art, there is little incentive. They do product a bullpup subgun similar to the T97.

$5 says the RCMP would call a cheap G36 a G3 variant because of the gas system.

I like the idea from the "best idea ever" thread that Can Am brought up. M1 carbine in 7.62x25 (but extended to non restricted lengths). I'd take that in a traditional or mall ninja tacticool stock. Actually i'd take any reliable, preferably non restricted semi in 7.62x25 at a 500ish price point. Or maybee an M14 or black special in 7.62x39 or .223 (.223 using AR mags).

Any 7.62x25 mm rifle/carbine restricted or not would be a must buy for me.

THe G3 and G36 use totally different systems. The G36 is gas piston. The g3, roller delayed blowback.

LOL, you can sure tell I've been mostly a bolt rifle guy and just finally started into handguns. Not to familiar with the prohib list. Kinda put alot of cool stuff on there didn't they?

As for big accuracy rifles, I would build that on a Lawton or Nesika action if I were to do it. The Lawton is my favorite, but I don't think I can bring that in.

How bout an AR180 B2 clone 7.62? might fit better than an 06, but I bet would be near impossible to get NR status on. Not that I know anything

Actually instead of an Mp5 what about the USC and such? I would still like a G36 better but something in a .45acp would be a fitting/fun for 3 gun matches.
