Next on the horizon for Norinco

A rimfire PS90 would be REALLY hard.

It would be much easier to use an American 180 (a pan) or a Calico (helical) style magazine (Norinco has an SMG that uses the latter).

How about 14.5 bullets simply made out of mild steel? Now get to work you lazy bastard Chinamen!!!

Wouldn't it be more efficient to simply cast the bullets here? Importing the brass (and primers? I'm not familiar with .50 BMG and up) separately.

Too correct my good man, but I just haven't seen the initiative here in Canada.

I'm sure the Chinamen have millions of laquered steel cases they would love to give us. If we asked nicely, they would give us a million primers too! All in all I'm sure we could get complete 14.5mm shells for 5 bucks a piece. Fu*k...if they are selling us descent M14's and M4's, they sure as hell are gonna sell us some ####*y old PTRS-41's with "ball" ammo to boot.

If Marstar asked for the PTRS...they'll get it. Doesn't take a goddamn genius to lathe a couple million rounds of brass ball. The Chinese will supply the casings.

how bout a bren gun

I'm game for that. How about dirt cheap .303 British ammo to go with it? Shouldn't be a major considering they could use the same bullet that is currently being used in 7.62x54R production, could they not? With .303 British ammo being almost non-existant here in Canada, I'm sure it would be a fast moving product for the dealers.

A knock-off MP-40 is an interesting proposition. I'd be inclined to buy one of those. A cheap gun firing cheap ammo has a ton of fun-factor.
