NIB Benelli M4 with 14" Barrel....WOW CHECK IT OUT !!!

No, you're not seeing the point. I have the M4S90 with the 18.5" barrel. It is a fantastic shotgun. I can wander the woods with it, transport it on a path that is not "reasonably direct" to the range", try to kill geese/deer/bear/squirrels etc.

I still want the 14" version. I take my AR and pistols to the range regularly. This one would be a lot of *fun* to take too.

Most of us don't need guns at all. If you worked overtime on hunting day instead of driving to some forest and bought low end hamburger at walmart instead of gas and bullets even fridge fillers would come out ahead.

People who have money left over after food, clothing and a roof can do whatever they want with it. Cars that go 300 kph when the max is 110. Houses that could fit 20 people when there are only 4 in the house. Trips to Bali when the KOA campground nearby has spots. They don't spend it on what you want to do with it, they spend it on what *they* want to do with it.

LOL so you really think 4" of less barrel makes the gun alot more fun?

Maybe there's a 14" version with a fixed stock instead of the collapsable! If it's around $2000 I'd buy one.

Not sure if you're thinking a fixed stock would make it non-restricted being over 26" in length, but it would still be restricted because of less than 470 mm barrel length, centre-fire and semi-auto action.

Why is this so hard for you to understand? Not that it matters much to the main point, but that 14" is a weapon that I would very much like to own. Having experience with my 18.5" M4S90 I feel that the 14" would be an amazing weapon. I know another one will be hard to come by.

The point, try to pay attention now, is that we all have our preferences when it comes to our possessions. We individually decide if they are worth owning.

I was following a thread a while ago titled "What caliber choices in your safe". Many had over 20.
eg:
.22LR , .22Mag , .222 Rem, .223 Rem, .243 Win, 6mm Remington, 6x45mm, .25 ACP, .25-35 Ackley Improved, .25-06, .270 WSM, .30 Carbine, .30-30 Ackley Improved, .308 Win, .300 Wby Mag, .32 ACP, .32 Long Colt, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Mag, 8x57mm, .325 WSM. 9mm Luger, .38 Special, .357 Rem Mag, 9.3x62mm, .38-55 Win, .375 H&H Mag, .40 S&W, .405 Winchester, .404 Jeffery, .44 Rem Mag, .45 ACP, .45-70 Win, 20 ga, 12 ga

Not my thing, the ammo logistics make my head hurt. It obviously is his though. Last line of his post was "I love this hobby". More power to him.

I have 4 calibers in my safe. Some (you?) may think "Not enough". I have a $7000 AR. Some (you?) may think "Too much".

You pick your stuff and the other guy will pick his. Get it yet?

Nobody has managed to answer my question yet....so I'll ask it again:

Why is it that the handgun/black rifle/tactical guys never go into a thread on O/U's or levers and stir s**t up, yet the fudd types feel somehow justified in making an appearance in every non-hunting firearm thread just to tell us all how stupid these guns are?

I don't get it....I thought the tacticool types were the problem.......;)
Of course the tactical types are NEVER critical of clay shooters. Well almost never.

I loved my 14" zombie gun.....mostly 'cause it pissed off the SG snobs at the club (especially when I obliterated thier skeet/clays scores with it) and even some here (hence the start of this thread)

My remaing score was 23/23...I completely wiped the floor with the snobs that were laughing at my "robbery gun". Last thing I said to the exec?

I pointed at his uber-dollar O/U and said "Imagine what I could do with one of those!"

Actually Claybuster, you are helping prove Wrong Way's point rather than your own... Wrong Way points out that while you seem to make a habit of coming into threads specifically about guns that you have no interest in and stirring up poop, the "tacticool" crowd doesn't wander into your threads and do likewise. Neither of the threads you quoted show otherwise.

In fact they seem to indicate that the "tacticool" crowd seem quite content to start their own threads and talk amongst themselves, even if it is about "Fudds"... They don't barge into "Fudd" threads and call everyone idiots and refer to Fudd guns as useless...

I think this is the one

And I like easy's idea of owning a 18.5" along with a 30days loop hole.

Attention dealers: Make a package of one 18.5" and one 14" and sell them as pair and if the price is right I might grab a set and take one out for duck hunting:D

The tacticool types dominate on this forum. They are a dynamic, exciting and interesting bunch with seemingly bottomless pockets. Its where the action is. Like a strip club, you just can't resist the urge to step inside and take a peek! :p

Its the "wild side"! LOL!

Ooooh! You quoted me talking about tactical shotguns in a thread about...wait for it....TACTICAL SHOTGUNS! How rude of me.....

Show me a fudd thread where I came in and started trolling....won't find one. If I want to make fun of the uber dollar shotgun crowd, I'll do it in my own thread where they can visit and comment or ignore it.....I would never be so self important that I would feel justified in hijacking one of the O/U threads just to tell you guys how you are idiots for owning whatever you own....nor would I try and tell you that your choice in firearms is somehow wrong....not only is that rude, it reeks of arrogance.

I can find SEVERAL examples of you coming into tactical type threads to make it a point to voice your dissaproval/troll/insult/generally make an ass of yourself..... I'd be interested to know if you could point out ANY of the tactical shotgun types polluting a "fudd" shotgun thread with the same bulls**t.

I think you'll find that the tactical shotgunners are for more polite, and far less stuck-up/judgemental than the "clays" shotgun snobs.

Shotgun Snobs.....the liberals of the shooting world.
.
And Claybuster, if you are going to quote me....why don't you quote the WHOLE post rather than snipping to suit your agenda.

Here's the whole post, and upon reflection it occurs to me....was the exec. in this post YOU? The attitude certainly fits....

My first time shooting skeet EVER...and I really didn't want to be there ( it was required that I shoot with a member of the "executive" as pat of my initiation) Anyway, I show up with my 22" barreled full camo pump (the gun I have been using for the better part of 10 years for ducks) and the FIRST comment I get from one of the "regular" shooters is "So...you gonna go hold up the mac's milk with that when you are done here?"

The very next comment I get is after missing the first two clays..this is from the "exec": "You know, that really isn't a proper shotgun for clays...maybe when you reach MY level of proficiency you'll want to invest a little more into your equipment"

Heres the funny part. I'm watching the clays fly and am obviously concentrating, so the exec says" What are you thinking about?"
I reply "Bufflehead"
He says: "What?"
I say: "The clays...they are just like bufflehead"
He says: "whats a bufflehead?"
I say: "Nevermind...it makes sense to me"

My remaing score was 23/23...I completely wiped the floor with the snobs that were laughing at my "robbery gun". Last thing I said to the exec?

I pointed at his uber-dollar O/U and said "Imagine what I could do with one of those!"

They exist...trust me.

Im surprised more people dont buy a Neostead 2000. Its non-restricted holds 12rds in the tubes(you can select which tube to feed from) has a 22' barrel but is only 27.5' OAL.
