Hasn't gone to the Supreme court yet
It's rather sad to see some of the people here pecking away at John like chickens. He has a reputable business and has brought in great guns for our community. I will continue to buy from him.
John: If I were you I would delete this thread. Some people will never be happy with any answer.
Québec lost the last battle for gun registry, now they only go to the supreme court against canada so they don't scrap/trash the quebec remaining file of the existing registred firearm. IF Québec won, THEN Québec will have his own registry and his own law that say you MUST register NR firearm. So it is still mandatory to register?
an open-ended and valid question was asked... Whats with the cencorship????
You know what; John should answer![]()
Copied from the CFP website -
Until further notice, due to a Court Order issued by the Quebec Superior Court, residents of Quebec are still required to register non-restricted firearms with the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program.
The case is not yet settled.
4 day's ago when i called to know if i must register the rifle i just bought from ontario..... don't get me wrong please, i don't write this against marstar, i good friend of mine is working there and i always got service from them.... mabye they are not aware that they are not responsible to register for quebec customers.
so, Marstar is telling us he is the only out of quebec dealer with tradex to have followed the law? NO OTHER BUSINESS OUTSIDE QUEBEC have registered non-restricted firearms after c-19.
(excepted for tradex)
xOra, I am the one who said I did not believe you. I am sorry. Please accept my apologies. I did not want to believe Marstar did it. I tell you in public you were right, I was wrong. Marstar have not done any public statement, but his silence speaks louder than words. Mastar: never again unless you have a good explanation, but I doubt.
What a beautiful except of Newspeak...
Let me see if I understand this one, we are "bad guys" because we followed the directives from the CFC/CFO ??
John
For quite some time we are NOT obliged to register LGs for Quebec customers.... NOR are there even provisions with the new online system with the CFC.... John
If we are not to follow the law what are we to do ??
