Non-restricted firearms registration for Quebec customer

Ifi I'm not mistaken it goes: Superior court injunction---Overthrown by court of appeals---now?? will Québec go before the Supreme court.....Probably (it's Québec( we're SOOOO distinct)) + we have all your gas money---- THEY WILL LOSE
 
It's rather sad to see some of the people here pecking away at John like chickens. He has a reputable business and has brought in great guns for our community. I will continue to buy from him.

John: If I were you I would delete this thread. Some people will never be happy with any answer.

Québec lost the last battle for gun registry, now they only go to the supreme court against canada so they don't scrap/trash the quebec remaining file of the existing registred firearm. IF Québec won, THEN Québec will have his own registry and his own law that say you MUST register NR firearm.
That's what i understand from my last call with CFO, but also like the lady told me, i can borrow any NR firearm with my CANADIAN PAL for.... as long as it's valid !!!
IF it's not registrated Under MY name in Québec and it belong to someone in, let's say Ontario, unless the serial number is a declared stolen firearm, it can belong to anybody outside from Québec and i have the right to borrow it !!!!
 
Well I'm calling it a night and John has clearly done the same. Good night my dear little community, we may bicker and argue but we all have a great common passion...let's never forget that.

damn it, I am going to REPEAT again, since the LGR went down we have been flooded with new policies, decisions, regulations etc, etc.... In ALL cases we have followed the instructions as they were issued, if you know of an alternative please be kind enough to let me know John

IT SEEMS all but impossible to make myself understood, when the LGR went down we followed the instructions of the day, as matter progressed we received more instructions, we followed them them, while the injunction was in place we followed the instructions of the day, until recently we continued to follow all directives....
If following the required measures as laid out by the CFC/CFO makes us wrong, then so be it....
I don't know how many of you out there are in the trade, not many I would guess, if you have all the solutions, then offer them, you have all the answers ?? Then why aren't you in the business, hell I will sell you this company so you can demonstrate your knowledge to the world.

How can we explain it to your satisfaction ???? What can we say that will satisfy you ?? Would you kindly inform me as to the alternative ?? If we are not to follow the law what are we to do ??

Since the proclamation of Bill C-19 as the statutory law of Canada it has never been mandatory for dealers outside the province of Quebec to register NR firearms on behalf of customers who were Quebec residents at the time of the sale.
During the life of the Quebec Superior Court injunction the onus was on the buyer in such cases to register the NR firearm.
I don't understand why a dealer in the above circumstances take it upon himself to proactively register a firearm sold to a Quebec resident? :confused:
 
Dear John, I too live in Quebeastan and I have not bought any guns because of all this BS. If you are saying that you got written orders saying that you MUST register firearms sold to Quebec can you please release a copy so that we can attack our new public safety minister.

Quebecors are not trying to attack you we are looking to attack the CFO, I have fought with them on ATT's and other matters and won. The Quebec CFO has been on a losing streak as of lately and we are trying to keep it up. The Quebec CFO has lost ATT battles, they have lost their 2 month holding period on AR transfers. Quebecors are starting to fight back for the first time in 30+ years

So as I understand it....according to you, you are not obligated to register LG's for Quebec customers...but you do it anyway?

In post 111 you say you are not required by law to register them..??.....which is it?


Also, I think your responses have been far from adequate in regards to the op's question. Furthermore, you should take a breath before responding. You come off sounding like a child taking a tantrum....and for that reason... I am out.
