Non-Restricted Semi to hunt deer?

I'm pretty sure .223 is the smallest center fire calibre you can use for big game in ontario. Ill have to look at the regs again but I sure wouldn't want to shoot a deer with my .204

clayboy you are right I read the regs. I would not shoot with a 223, just me I have twenty yrs of hunting from squirrel to Browns, and from Pneaum.air guns to .338. hunted with groups and have seen a lot of stupid things.

If you are using 75gr or 77gr that should be fine within 200m?
