Norc 1911 9mm, M14, CSA Compact, PPS50

NP 29 range day........

Great IDPA range day today with NP29 picked up from SFRC this week...the guns are well built, parts fit well and are not sloppy. Springs like usual with Norcs are heavy and guns edges a bit sharp (shaved with mine before I left for the range-a good multitask survival tool perhaps) but functioned flawlessly with Wolf reloads. accuracy was great. Test groups after the IDPA practice again printed very nicely. Im very satisfied with the product! Sorry.....i know the thread is useless without pics but I was having too much fun shooting to think of that then guys but i will testify is was well worth the wait in my opinion. :D:D Thanks SFRC for putting up with my daily question.....are they here yet?.... are they here yet? .....are they here yet?

Any comments on the trigger pull? Previous versions needed a bit of work (very heavy pull) in the trigger area, wondering if this new batch is similar or do they feel normal etc.?

I just got an email from a purchase of FN9 from Questar advising me that it will be shipped soon as CFC complete the transfer (which I confirmed by calling CFC telling me that it is now complete). I am just wondering which 9mm pistol would I get first, is it from Ryan(SFRC) or from Derek(Questar) - both from Ontario. I wonder who will tell me the tracking number first. I guess some of you guys here have tried your NP29s. I am just hoping I could get them tested before a lot of snow covers the firing range.

Got my tracking # this morning. Says arrival Friday but I am less than 4 hours away so I'm thinking I might have it thursday

karnak
yes quite heavy pull and long reach to trigger. definately they need some friday night work and parts from brownells to make them more shootable. but all in all i was much more impressed than my other norc 45 because this safety is much easy to work. edges are sharp as usual. accuracy was really great shooting idpa practice. good luck with yours . 1 topgun

Next shoot I"ll bring the stones and we can smooth out some of the sharp edges, trigger track and reduce that trigger pull a little.

I was in at SFRC today to pick up the SPS AAC-SD and there were stacks and stacks of pistols packed and ready waiting for the post person ;).

The CFO is slow here apparently

The BC CFO faxed a big pile of approvals last night so that should clear up most of the BC guns. They will be going out today and tomorrow...BIG stack of them.

Got mine today.
Can't complain about the fit and finish, at all.
Same with my Norinco .45, I bought about 4 or 5 years ago.
Also have a M-93. Not bad.
Soon there will be no basis for making "Norc" jokes.
We'll have to leave that for the High Points.
Wish Norinco would come out with a 1911 40S&W

Got mine today fit and finish is pretty good ,the etching of the model # on the slide is pretty faint hardly even notice it as mentioned in the other np29 thread people were complaining about mags not dropping free all mine do.the top of the slide is flattened for anti glare and the front sight is in a dovetail.would like to thank Ryan for the great service and the extra gift card found two in my box one in the pistol case and one with the paper work,oh and my serial #1910. well it`s 2.30am and just got home from work i`am beat will post the pics tomorrow of the unboxing and some pics of the pistol this is right out of the bag no cleaning nice dark blueing
