I re&re'd my buffer tube using the "2 point" C wrench end of my AR multitool. I think that's what you want to know? The buffer tube nut has 4 slots in it for the wrench.

Did a paintjob with "Burnt bronze cerakote" as inspiration but wanted something a little darker. The camera flash is whats making it all shiny in the bottom pic, it's actually a dark bronze metallic and not really as glossy as the pics make it to be. I think it turned out well, contrasts nice with the black.

Tokyo Marui...it's not real, haha! It was an airsoft rifle I bought years ago, never even played with it. Sold it a month or so ago and got GSG 1911 and a pile of ammo with the money I got from it.

i'm gunna jump in and answer his question.
it's not, but with the new batch of LAR mags canam has the bases of the mags are on an angle, the older (better IMO) LAR mags have a flat base, and this makes the coupled mags the same shape as a 30rd mag.

I dont,these LAR-15 mags have a steep angle at the bottom of the mag, so it really exaggerates the "banana" look.
