Just contacted Canada Ammo by email and told them to cancel all my orders and reimburse my credit card, Will also phone them and tell them what I think of their service or lack thereof. Will also phone my credit card company and report purchases not received. Will buy my ammo and stuff elsewhere from now on.

WOW! Would you believe it? Just phoned Canada Ammo and got a recorded message saying they are not accepting any phone calls right now and please check their web site for any information. What kind of a company is this? If they are so swamped with orders why don't they employ more staff. Not a good idea to piss off customers this way, Word gets around and they finish up with not too many orders. I have four orders waiting shipment. Will never order from them again. These orders are not waiting for CFO before someone pipes up about them.

Really, there are 263 pages on this one topic alone. You didn't think it was going to take some time to get your purchase. Mine took 46 days from ordering to gun in hand. I also ordered some other things to but I didn't care because I took the time to read things and I understood that there would be delays. To rip apart a business on an open forum well my dear the only thing that it does it make you look like a complete moron. Cancel everything thats good it just means that there will be more stuff for people that have a bit of patients. But to say that you will never do business with them again and that word travels fast bla bla bla. So they loose you but still have 1000's of other customers.

Im so pleased with CanAm service. I sent an email 2 days ago asking about my 2nd order as it had been approved for a while. By the time I heard back they had already shipped the 2nd order but after looking into it found that the 3rd had been approved also so theyre shipping that one tomorrow.

Sweet.
 
Mine also took 45 days from order to in hand but it was definitely worth the wait. This is my 5th 1911 and it is in the company of 2 Sig TacOps and 2 SR1911s. The Norinco will morph into a great shooter with time and is a great gun for very little money. The fact that it doesn't say "made in China" or "Norinco" makes it all the more fun. The gun is worth waiting for.

You're not alone Burnaby - I also ordered on the 24th of April and received my CFO reg in the mail today and still no word from CanAm...
 
I have found with the last three restricted transfers it pays to call your local CFO and politely ask what is going on or is there anything "I" can do maybe add some missing info? and luckily all the last three were approved on the phone so sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease :) staus now changed to complete with tracking numbers woohoo!!! although it was the first week of may that my credit card was charged for the order!!

People rip apart companies that do not perform or are questionable like Monsanto, mcdonalds etc all the time. Its called survival of the fittest. Would you rather we all sing kumbaya and join the NDP?
 
My two orders took almost 50 days to arrive, had to call CFO to give some info, but other than that I felt no need to call or email. I know what to expect when ordering and it is acceptable for me to have to wait in exchange for the low price I get in return. If I didn't like it I would buy elsewhere. Capitalism at its best. No one is forcing you to buy.

I have had to return 2 defective firearms and had no trouble doing so. In fact I was able to save the shipping by giving them in person (and asking politely) at the monthly HACS show and in the case of one, an m14, I was able to get an exchange on the spot. I am extremely happy with the service I have received from Canada Ammo and will continue to order from them and visit their table at the monthly shows.
 
Seriously, when dealing with handguns, we always experience delays. Personally , I never had to wait less than for at least 4-5 weeks for the private sales. So for me it acceptable , I have enough guns to shoot meantime. If I would be pissed , I would blame delays in CFO side.

Comparing canammo to those companies is hugely absurd. They are busy, not immoral LOL

And if you've watched question period at all you'd notice the #####ers are the NDP. So you've got it backwards ;)

If you are in opposition you are a #####er if you are on the Gov side you are a fan boy .
