Mine seems to shooting well out of my DD, my only complaint is that it was corroded (yellow box stuff from canammo). Looks like it was stored in a wet basement (smelled like it to) 1 in 10 had some sort of corrosion down around the base of the case.
Just so you know what you are getting, here is how the most recent ammo is packaged:
The crate contains two of these cans

How it's packaged inside the metal can.

Each paper package contains 40 rounds. Each metal can contains 20 paper packages, for a total of 800 rounds per can, 1600 per case.

If it says NC, it is
it is likely corrosive if:
made before 1990
wrapped in paper
It says right on there website non corrosive

Wouldn't be the first time a retailer was incorrect in regards to corrosive/non corrosive ammo. Not accusing anyone or any business of this, just pointing out it's ultimately up to the individual to know what they're getting.
But as factionrr has said this is shipped from someone else besides Canam, so I'd like to still know the headstamp and manufacture date of the ammo posted above. Wierd to see spam cans these days, thought the Norinco was all yellow boxed.
I'm debating wether or not to buy a case.... I don't have a gun in this caliber YET. It's very tempting since I found someone that has it listed for 400$ so its hard to say no but I have a feeling il get in sh!t for it.
You know what they say, buy it cheap, stack it deep.
You'll regret it if you don't when if finally runs out.

if I want to store this ammo long term, should I just leave them inside the unopend spam cans?
As for ppl who worry about shooting 5.56?in their .223 guns...if your gun is an AR, it's not .223. They don't chamber any ARs in .223 even if it says so on the gun. All ARs are 5.56 or .223 Wylde.
