Norinco 7.62x39

Because I am sitting in my hotel room reading CGN

You must be reading a different internet than I am:

Ammo was for police, under the Ministry of Interior.

BTW, I am not even sure what your are suggesting?

I know it's long gone but can we get some more? People here still need to shoot sks etc.

I'll save CanAm some time replying to you, I know how busy they are, so I will copy and paste their answer from a few pages ago

Canadaammo, is there any chance of getting this or other non corrosive ammo in within the foreseeable future?

we bought all the stock we could find. We may have a new run made, but that will take time, and priced accordingly, compared to NOS.

The only "non corrosive" stuff that i have seen in any sort of quantity has been levers famously not so non corrosive stuff, so i'm sure even at a higher price you would have a market for non corrosive bulk 7.62x39, specialy when it comes with a free pack of targets or an AR pen or other goodies.

I hear yea I think I just got bamboozled the head stamp is 72 and the primers are very very red. That non corrosive even saves on cleaning and oil supplies if ya don't shoot that many rounds in one go. Especially in my xcr of all things I'd feel a lot better shooting an sks with the ammo but the barrel is chromed..... It just kinda pisses me off since I asked more then twice if it was non corrosive. It's marked with Russian lettering and nc on the spam cans. Ill do the nail test to 1000 percent Verify that it's corrosive and or not. However 72 and it being that old I don't feel confident. Regardless lesson learned and I don't care ill still shoot it all anyways. Not gunna let it ruin my day or gun. Cleaning with water is just a big pain I like wipe out and patch out, but to be sure I get all the salts water is free and effective.

If you do the nail test you might want to test each paper bundle individually. I had 31-72 "non corrosive" and the first 400 rounds or so were non corrosive, no rust problems at all, but then all of a sudden the i got a bunch from the same spam can that rusted everything i put through it, so just because one primer won't show corrosive doesn't mean they all will

That's actually Anthrax. The Commies are getting their revenge on us, starting with the gunnutz! :D

But seriously, sometimes you get that with foreign ammo, especially Chinese stuff. I've had several spam cans of Chinese 7.62x39 corrosive surplus that smelled sweet, like cotton candy, almost. It's probably some packing preservative or something.

Is it packaged up in Castle Anthrax?

I would also like more data info on the "NC" lever stuff but its definitely corrosive no doubt, all my primer on nail tests showed it to be corrosive. I have a lot of it and have shot a lot of it. Wish i could find more of the silver box norinco crates, i keep buying every one i come across lol.
